Sweet. silly, and fun
A few weeks ago I was searching Amazon Prime for a movie to watch and stumbled across a Korean action movie and decided to give it a try. I'd never watched a Korean film before and I was impressed with the production, cinematography, and acting so I decided to search for more Korean films and came across this little gem. It's the story of the lead vocalist in a struggling rock band who is recruited by an entertainment company and trained to be a Trot singer (apparently a very popular genre in South Korea). If I had to compare Trot to something American, I'd say it's pretty similar to the stuff that you see on stage in Las Vegas, crooning while wearing glitzy outfits. This movie is a sweet, fun, little romp - it's funny and light-hearted without being too ridiculous. This is the fourth Korean film I've watched in the last few weeks. Amazing and funny!
I love Korean movies and this wasnt an exception. I wanted to watch this movie for a long time but i didnt have a chance when i found it here in the Amazon Prime Videos I was so excited!! I highly recommend this movie. For anybody who likes comedy movies but want to try something new, this is the perfect movie! I love the actors and music!! Thank you so much for adding it!!
A really sweet Rise-To-Fame story
Great little story about a young man trying to "Make it" in the music industry: Even if he has to change over to another type of musical style to do it! Twists and turns along the way all work out to create a fusion of musical and entertainment styles that is a winner! The underlying story of Boy-meets-girl is what makes the entire story so understandable and enjoyable. (Great ending!)
