The Devil Operation

Death squad Capitalism unmasked
This documentary provides a glimpse behind the scenes into a way of "doing business" that too many U.S. citizens have no knowledge or understanding of. Corporations hire and utilize not only spy networks but paramilitary death squads to attempt to destroy the resistance of local communities to corporate attempts at resource theft. Communities naturally resist the environmental and cultural destruction that goes with corporate exploitation, and since indigenous communities can't be easily "bought off," (unlike politicians), murder and terror tactics are often part of the corporate response. The mining company in this film engaged in criminal enterprise and should be held accountable, however, as we all know, such accountability is rather hard to come by in our breathtakingly corrupt systems. An inspiring account of indigenous resistance and activism.
