Fun for the girls
This is supposed to help reinforce the idea to be happy with what you have been given, and 'the grass isn't always greener on the other side'. It kept my children's attention and they enjoyed the episode. It kind of glamorized the entertainment industry though(which is what they were trying not to do); I wasn't real thrilled with that, but it did somewhat get the point across that it's ok to not have a whole lot. My girls seemed to still get starry eyed when they saw 'Vanna Banana', and I would strongly urge parents to, of course, reinforce the main idea of the episode.
Silly songs was with Archibald Asparagus about wigs, and the girls were not REAL thrilled with it. They didn't NOT like it, though.
Worth a rental or Prime, but I don't think it is something that I would want them to watch on a real regular basis since they can get a little sucked into the glamorized entertainment side of it. I wish that Big Idea would get back to BIBLE STORIES, like Daniel...
Life lesson
Perfect for the kids that think they need everything everyone else has and want to be like everyone else. Love veggie tales!
Fun and wholesome
Our daughter loves the music in the show, and we love the message it sends. Overall, this is a win.
